Bob Greenberg, CEO of RFinder, recently shared exciting updates from Cozumel, Mexico, introducing RFinder’s latest lineup of Android 13-powered devices. The B1 Plus, P7, M6, and P10 models now feature upgraded motherboards and improved performance with Android 13.
The P10 stands out with its built-in RTL-SDR receiver, allowing dual antenna ports and enabling full-duplex operations—perfect for satellite communication where you can receive on the SDR while transmitting on the radio. The devices also support full satellite tracking and direct control of RFinder’s PortAzEl antenna rotators.
A major software update was also announced for the DroidStar app, using the RFinder enhanced DroidStar app. The app now supports memory storage for various protocol connections and integrates with the hardware PTT buttons. Users can simultaneously run two digital modes—such as System Fusion, D-STAR, P25, or M17—while monitoring DMR over IP, RF, or FM using the RFinder app. Switching between apps is seamless with a simple press of the square button, and independent volume controls for each app ensure an optimized user experience.
